Happiness through Vaastu: Your Rasi and Plants

People wear Gems to bring Good Luck. Similarly plants and trees can also bring good luck, prosperity and happiness in one's life. There are 12 Rasis and every Rasi is associated with some plants and trees. If a man plants a tree/plant associated with his Rasi he is blessed with Good Luck and prosperity. Positive energies come to him and he gets plenty of wealth. A list of plants and trees associated with different Rasis is given below:

1. Mesha: Anant Mool, Kher
2. Vrish: White Chameli, Gooler and Papita
3. Mithun: Allovera
4. Kark: Palash, Khirni and plants bearing white flowers
5. Singh: Bel Tree and White Madaar
6. Kanya: Allovera, Apamarg
7. Thula: Gooler, Chameli and plants bearing white flowers
8. Vrishchik: Anant Mool and Kher Tree
9. Dhanu: Peepal, Banana and Mango Tree
10. Makar: Shami, Bichchhu Tree, Neem Tree
11. Kumbha: Shami, Neem and Sheesham Tree
12. Meena: Peepal, Banana and Mango Tree

Persons not knowing their Rasis should plant Peepal or Mango Tree. It is recommended that every person should plant atleast one plant/tree associated with his Rasi in a year. As the tree grows it will bring Good Luck, prosperity and wealth to the person who planted it. The trees/plants can be planted any where (not necessarily in the house or the garden).

Happiness THrough Vaastu: More Tips on Plants and Flowers

Here are some more tips:

1. Coconut and lemon trees should be planted in the south or west direction of the garden.
2. Do not cut trees in the month of Bhadrapad or Magh.
3. Trees in the North, East and North East directions of the house should not be taller than the height of the house.
4. If the shadow of a tree falls on the house in the first or last quarter of the day it will prove beneficial to those living in that house.
5. However, if the shadow of a tree falls on the house continuously for 8 to 12 hours it will be troublesome for the inmates of the house.
6. A tree in the middle of the main door/gate of the house is not auspicious.
7. Bonsai plants should not be kept inside the house. They can harm the owner and his children.
8. As far as possible cotton, tamarind, Imli and gum plants should not be planted in the house.
9. Bargad and Peepal like trees which extract milk are also nor considered good. They cause pain those living in the house.
10. Peepal Tree should not be damaged or cut. However if due to unavoidable circumstances it is required to e cut, do it only after prayers and offering of rice and curd.
11. Thorny plants like Cactus etc. should e avoided because they provide negative energy. They can cause prolems related to lungs and kidneys. However Ashoka trees planted etween the the Cactus plants consideraly reduce the ad effects of Cactus.
12. Planting of dwarf plants i the garden brings quarrel in the house.
13. Chandan brings prosperity, happiness and longlife.

Happiness through Vaastu: Some Tips on Plants and Flowers

This article provides tips for using plants and flowers to get happiness in life. Remember, plants and flowers not only provide pleasant surroundings but also give positive energies to your brain. The following points may be kept in mind while planting lowers and plants:

1. Champak, Mogra and Parijat should not be planted in southwest, northwest or east directions.
2. Flower pots should not be kept on the east, north or northeast wall of the building.
3. The trees which bear fruits should be planted in the east direction of the garden.
4. Tall trees should be planted in the southwest direction. It will give stability and progress.
5.A dead or leafless tree in front of the house is not considered good. It should be uprooted.
6. If a tree on the opposite side of the road has only two branches, it is not good.
7. Trees should be planted in even numbers.
8. Coconut treebrings good luck. So, it is good to plant it in the garden.
9. Money Plant in the house brings wealth and good luck.
10.Mango, lemon, banana and papaya trees should not be planted in the east or north direction.
